Nick Heald Sensei and Matt Price Sensei founded the LKA in 2001.

They have both have competed internationally for England, and they continue to coach across the globe.

Matt Price Sensei is the current JKS National Team Head Coach and Nick Heald Sensei is also a JKS National Team Head Coach.
